Burgeo Broadcasting System is a community owned cable company that was incorporated in June of 1981. The company started to broadcast cable television in the fall of 1982. We started broadcasting four television and four radio signals in 1982 and today we can boast of having more than twenty-five cable television channels.

One of the services we offer at B.B.S. is a community information channel. This is a channel where residents can display their notices of "For Sale, Wanted, Meetings, etc.". These messages are displayed free of charge and can be seen 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The local temperature display can also be viewed on this channel.

We also have a fully equipped van to handle Hook-Ups, Trouble calls etc. and general maintenance to the cable system. Once a call is reported it's dealt with immediately.
